Knytt Stories

Title: Knytt Stories
Author: Nifflas
Cost: Free!
Not too many people find freeware all that appealing usually, especially games. Often the quality is horrid, and there is very little support for problems or help with the game. Knytt Stories completely blows this out of the water. While it is a freeware 2d platformer, the level design, gameplay, music, and story(ies) are amazing.
Music:
The music in Knytt Stories is one of the main reasons I love this game so much. Each part of the story/level has wonderfully creative music that goes with it. I often find myself revisiting areas just to listen to the music.
Gameplay:
Knytt Stories plays like a regular platformer, but with less emphasis on the challenge of getting through the level and more on adventuring around the game world. There are several levels that include difficulty switches that change the landscape around to make it more difficult, if you find it too easy.
Other:
Knytt Stories is, as it name suggests, stories about Knytt. Each story is a separate level that has a small introduction followed by the game. Usually, each story has a regular and secret ending, with the secret ending being extremely difficult to unlock. You can also download extra official and unofficial stories created by the author and by fans.
All in all, Knytt Stories is a completely amazing game. If you even have the slightest interest in games, be it pc or console, get this game, its fairly small, and worth it.

A good Christmas
December 29, 2007
Well, I received an Xbox 360 and Halo 3 this year for Christmas. I enjoyed Halo 2, especially on live. I’m just getting into Halo 3’s multiplayer. My gamertag is karro tebari, add me if you’d like.
Anyways, I’ve been hearing recent rumblings amongst the Halo 3 population that Call of Duty 4 (CoD4) is a Halo killer. While I haven’t played CoD4, I can tell you that it won’t kill Halo 3. While CoD4 may have some better features than Halo 3, the fan base for Halo, coupled with its amazing multiplayer system, will keep Halo 3 strong and CoD4 will fade into the background. In any case, Happy new year, good day.
